Rocks extracted in Lessines offer the following intrinsic characteristics: LA between 8 and 12, micro-Deval between 3 and 7 and PSV from 54 to 58 that offer optimal valorisation, including for TGV ballasts and highway roads.
Today, the Lessines annual production is of 1,500,000 tons per year and it is estimated that there are enough reserves for 150 years of operation.
These very good intrinsic characteristics lend the rock the ability to be largely used in the most technical areas (road concrete, asphalt, etc…
Today, the annual production at Bierghes reaches 400,000 tons and the reserves are sufficient for over 150 years of operation.
The Bierghes quarry also owns its own gravel reconstitution plant for stabilised and lean concrete.
Thanks to these very good intrinsic characteristics, it offers a large range of applications.
Today, Baileux produces 250,000 tons per year.
